National College’s Youngstown Campus to Begin Classes September 4
Renovations near completion; now enrolling students
YOUNGSTOWN – National College’s Youngstown Campus (3478 Belmont Avenue, Liberty; 330-759-0205) is preparing for the opening of classes on September 4. 25 to 30 students are expected in the initial class, with that number projected to rise dramatically as new classes enter approximately every six weeks.
Campus staff are currently enrolling students and meeting with potential applicants from a temporary facility nearby (3229 Belmont Avenue) while $1.4 million in renovations are being completed on the campus, which will be ready for the start of classes.
Among the many benefits available to National College graduates are lifetime access to National’s network of full-service career centers at four campus locations throughout Ohio and 20 additional campuses in Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana. National College career centers provide assistance to graduates with résumé preparation, interview coaching, job leads, and more. 87% of the college’s graduates in 2006 found employment in their fields of study within 90 days of graduation.
The campus will initially offer associate degrees in nine fields in business, health care, and computers, along with eight diploma programs which can be completed in as few as six to nine months. System wide National offers more than 35 academic programs, and new programs will be introduced in Youngstown in response to the needs of the local workforce.
Founded in 1886, National College is dedicated to the training and education of men and women for a full life and a successful career in a number of general and particular fields. The College proudly offers more than 35 academic programs including a master’s of business administration, three bachelor’s degrees and several associate degrees and diploma programs.
