New Martinsville Campus Opens

Classes began March 24 in newly renovated facility

The Martinsville Campus of National College began holding classes in its new campus location at 905 North Memorial Boulevard on Monday, March 24.

“The new campus location allows us to offer new programs and further enhance the already excellent quality of our existing classes,” says Campus Director John Scott.  “Students also appreciate the greater convenience afforded by the new location, including better centralized facilities and more abundant parking.”

The entire ground floor of the existing structure at 905 North Memorial Boulevard was completely renovated and provides nine lecture classrooms, three computer classrooms with a total of 54 workstations, a medical laboratory, and an information systems engineering laboratory with an additional 12 computer workstations to support new information technology programs.  In addition, a library, faculty work area, student lounge, book store, and administrative offices will complete approximately 16,000 square feet of finished space.  Including $500,000 in acquisition costs for the building and land, the College has invested more than $2.3 million in renovating and equipping the new campus location.
