Information Technology Keeps Pace

Mark Flint (left) is in his third term in the information systems engineering program at the Youngstown Campus and he is already positioning himself for success in his desired new career. He started college many years ago at a large institution but is happy to be continuing his education at National College.
Particularly for the information technology field, Mark has noted that National's programs change quickly as needed to keep up with the new technologies, a stark difference from the other universities he attended. He noted that the textbooks at National are up-to-date and the whole program is geared toward passing the crucial certification tests that are essential in getting hired in the computer field. Director of the Information Technology programs George McDonnell (right) agrees with Mark and said, "National College is a Microsoft IT Academy; we prepare our students for entry into the market with the skills that are most in demand in the field. Students learn the Microsoft technologies that are used by the majority of employers."
Mark also appreciates the learning environment that he has at National with teachers giving extra time when needed as well as being able to get "hands-on" training with a computer lab that is open many hours. He is thankful that refresher classes are available upon graduation as the computer field changes so quickly.
