Southeast RCAP Externship
Roanoke Valley student Dario Krolo successfully completed his externship with the Southeast Rural Community Development Assistance Project, Inc (Southeast RCAP) in the Loan Fund Department. Dario, a business administration major, is shown with Southeast RCAP employees Donna Robinson and Instructor Bill Griffin.
Along with his required daily general office duties, Dario performed work in loan underwriting, credit analysis, finance and accounting, loan payment recordkeeping, and assisting communities throughout the southeastern United States with their applications and necessary documentation. Most of those tasks are performed through a computerized GMS system, and Dario’s skill and experience with computers allowed for a quick learning curve so that he rapidly achieved complete competence in the RCAP system.
Bill said that Dario handled himself with real professionalism in his work. “His business knowledge and skill, and his work ethic, are a compliment to National College.”
