Scholarship Winner

New student Megan Lyle (pictured), an Emergency Medical Technology major, recently won a $750 scholarship from the Roanoke County Public Schools Education Foundation. Megan is a June graduate of Hidden Valley High School in Roanoke County, and is one of a select group of scholarship winners from each of the five high schools in Roanoke County. Megan had to apply for the scholarship, which was awarded by the Board of Trustees of the Education Foundation to students who planned to attend an accredited two or four year college or university. Winners had to meet GPA criteria, and had to exhibit qualities such as leadership, good citizenship and ambition. Congratulations to Megan!
