Students' Tuition Assistance

The Roanoke Valley Campus recently presented a plaque to Medeco showing appreciation for their partnership in education. Medeco offers its employees tuition assistance to pursue higher education from places like National College. Medeco employees benefit not only from their employer’s tuition contribution but they also receive assistance from the College’s Business Partnership Grant. For every $3 paid by the employer, National will pay $1 towards the student/employee’s tuition.
Medeco’s Director of Human Resources Charlene Lester is a National graduate and is proud to form a partnership that will benefit the company’s employees. She said, "We appreciate the valuable partnership with National College in enabling our employees to take advantage of the programs and curriculum to enhance their careers."
Jackie Spangler, Materials Analyst/Production Scheduler, is currently taking advantage of the Business Partnership Grant and working towards a bachelor’s degree in business administration – accounting. She said, “[National’s] a great college with the best instructors. I’m getting a great education…”
Medeco’s Kevin Lee, a manufacturing engineer, and Michael Barnett, a shipping clerk, are also attending National working towards associate degrees in business administration – management.
