Trial by Jury

On Friday, August 14th, the Richmond Campus conducted a mock murder trial for students in Instructor Donna Barney's Legal Terminology class with student Raymond Stone as the key suspect. The class held an entire trial which involved four witnesses, one being the Campus Director Keeley Gadd; multiple crime scene photos; and plenty of evidence. The trial ended with a twist - the suspect, Raymond, was acquitted. The jurors ended up convicting student Yolanda Williams with murder in the first degree. The Legal Terminology class wrote the entire script themselves based on what they learned throughout the term. They worked several hours outside of class to make the trial a success!
