Military and Veterans Open House

On Wednesday, July 14th, the Richmond Campus hosted a Military and Veterans Open House. Current and former members of the military community were invited to attend one of two available sessions held that day. Enjoying snacks and refreshments, the attendees were informed about new and existing educational benefits made available for them and their families. Regional Director of Military Affairs Brad Marine (pictured on the right) hosted the two assemblies. He highlighted benefits for disabled veterans and veterans who have served post-September 11, 2001. A key point to the presentation was the College’s new Blue Ribbon Grant, which awards up to $8,000 to qualifying individuals. National is proud of its students involved in the military, and those who have served for our country. In the future, the Richmond Campus plans to host a Military and Veterans Open House on the second Wednesday of every month.
