Independence Day Celebration

Nashville celebrated Independence Day a day early with a day-long cookout. With hot dogs, hamburgers, cake, and other goodies made available, the day and night students mingled between classes. “There’s nothing like grilling for Independence Day,” laughed Business Administration-Management student Judah Lando who manned the grill for the evening while Student Services Representative Theresa Arwood grilled during the day. Students also had a chance to visit with new Campus Director Jerry Lafferty who joined the Nashville family on Monday, June 30. Most recently, Jerry led the Louisville campus as Campus Director. Jerry has worked with the College since 2002, originally at the Pikeville campus.
Pictured with Jerry during the Independence Day celebration are students Flamauion Brown, Crystal Amezquita, Sheraneka Cobbs, LaTonya Kellem, and Loleta Harlan.
