Jumpstarting Medical Careers
The Lynchburg Campus recently joined other area colleges to participate in a medical and healthcare workshop. Centra-Health provided the week-long event for about 20 area high school students. These students were able to get a close-up view of careers in the health care field as well as hands-on training in a classroom and workplace setting. Director of Health Care Education Sue Coleman and Director of Admissions Nancy Wilcox met with students and parents about the many available career-training opportunities available at National College. Sue encouraged the workshop participants saying, "You have chosen a field that offers limitless opportunities to grow professionally and personally."
