Graduation 2008

The Lynchburg Campus held its 2008 Commencement on Friday, May 30. Seventy-one graduates were celebrated and awarded their degrees and diplomas by Campus Director Bill Baker. The campus was honored to have Noreen Turyn, News Anchor and Managing Editor of WSET-TV ABC 13, give the commencement address. Ms. Turyn delivered an inspiring message about staying true to one’s own dreams and goals rather than letting the opinions of others detract you from all that you are capable of achieving along your life path.
Vincent Smith was recognized for consistently going above and beyond the call of duty at the campus and was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation. Vincent serves as maintenance manager at the campus. Lenora Downing, Vice President, and Larry Steele, Regional Director of Admissions were welcomed in the opening festivities for being in attendance. Instructor Marvin Cash delivered the invocation and benediction.
