Veterans Day Celebration

Faculty, staff, and students from the Louisville Campus came together on Tuesday, November 11th, to reflect, congratulate, and honor veterans. The group sang the National Anthem which kicked off the Veterans Day ceremony. Career Center Director Amtoni Norris said, “We sometimes take for granted the commitment and sacrifice of the families and those that serve our country in war and aid in the security of this nation. When we all stood to salute the flag, there was an atmosphere of thanksgiving and gratitude that filled the air.”

Though some students had never attended a Veterans Day ceremony, they showed admiration to those who were honored with gifts, certificates and plaques for their service to our country.

Directions to Louisville

From anywhere in Kentuckiana, we’re easy to find. Traveling on the Watterson Expressway (264 West) to Dixie Highway - Shively exit (8B). Take a quick right onto Herbert Avenue. Turn right into our parking lot or after exiting Shively exit 8B, proceed to the first stop light and turn right onto Garrs Lane. Turn right again at the end of lane. Go to stop sign, turn right again onto-Herbert Avenue. Turn left into our parking lot.
