Getting Down to Business

Louisville Campus medical assisting students held their quarterly “Stick Party” on October 29th. This event is held four times of year for students in the Invasive Clinical Procedures class in the last quarters of their academic program. It gives students the opportunity to get hands-on experience before they face real patients at their externships. The Louisville Campus’s medical assisting program is growing rapidly. Additionally, a Norton Hospital Immediate Care Center will be constructed right across the street from the campus. Over 250 jobs will be created and the medical assisting students are “sticking,” their way through to ensure they are able to compete. The campus is confident that National students will be more than prepared for the health care career opportunities that await them.
