A Graduate Teacher
In August 2006, Elisabeth Head graduated from the Health Information Technology (HIT) program at the Louisville Campus with an associate degree. For more than a year, she has been working in the medical records department at Baptist Hospital East. Elisabeth has also returned to the campus as an Instructor for the HIT program. She currently teaches Introduction to CPT, Health Information Supervision, Healthcare Statistics, and Clinical Foundations.
Elisabeth said HIT Department Chair Kristy Couch and former Instructor Vicki Strunk both left a great impact on her and inspired her to succeed. She said, “National College has given me great opportunities and taken me places I never thought I could take myself.”
