On Thursday, January 10, the Louisville Campus was honored by a visit from Congressman John Yarmuth. Campus Director Jerry Lafferty (pictured on the right with Yarmuth) welcomed the Congressman and introduced him to the staff. During the tour of the campus, each department discussed their duties, and those departments directly affected by the Reauthorization of the Higher Education Act addressed the components of the bill critical to career colleges. Also, a group of students met with Yarmuth and discussed transfer of credits and other concerns. After viewing a typical classroom, he was taken to our new auditorium where he was invited to use the facility for his town hall meetings by our director. Other guests for the visit were Director of Governmental Affairs Roger Dalton, and Vice President Bruce D. Leftwich from the Career College Association.
