Spring Career Fair
On Wednesday, April 22nd, the Harrisonburg Campus welcomed 15 recruiters from local organizations on campus for the Spring Career Fair. Students, graduates, and members of the general public attended. A number of recruiters were pleased with some of the good potential candidates they discovered. For students, these events help build self-confidence when preparing for the job hunt. The interactions made during career fairs help students more clearly define the type of position they are seeking.
Soon-to-be-graduate Lewis Kingston is pictured talking with recruiter Kelly Hebdon from American General Life and Accident Insurance. Lewis will earn a bachelor’s degree from the business administration-accounting program this summer.
