A Discussion for Entrepreneurs
Joyce Krech, Assistant Director of the Shenandoah Valley Small Business Development Center (SV SBDC),. came to the Harrisonburg Campus and gave an informative presentation on starting and growing a small business in the Harrisonburg area to students in the Managing the Small Business class taught by Hubert Doughty. Students appreciated hearing her experiences from working with a large number of start-up businesses and having the opportunity to ask questions. Quite a number of the students have some interest in starting their own businesses in the future. The SV SBDC is an excellent resource that serves an 8-county region in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
