Life Saving Training
On July 23, new Harrisonburg Paramedic Program Director, Julie Chase, offered an optional CPR training class for students in the medical programs. Ten students completed the program and obtained certification. The class was very popular, as judged by the waiting list to sign up. Julie may be persuaded to offer the training again. According to Julie, because the students were more knowledgeable than groups she usually trains, the class took fewer hours to complete.
