She Filled the Bill!

We recently caught up with Lisa Coatsolonia (pictured) who graduated from the Harrisonburg Campus in the business administration-accounting program earlier this year. She is now working at Carteret Title in Harrisonburg where she was first hired as an Outsourcing Clerk in April, a position which did not fully utilize her training and skills in accounting. In just under two months, she received a promotion to Billing Clerk. Now, she says, she really uses the knowledge she gained at National College. She sends out all orders which her company has received for title searches, bills for all ordered searches, and scans the searches into their network. She says she is also in training to do closings.
Lisa loves her job, and says that her classes in Business Law and Economics were some of the ones she has depended on most in her new role. Lisa’s manager, Tony Brown, tells Lisa nearly every day what a good job she is doing.
Tony called the campus in hopes of finding a National graduate to fill his job opening. He said he had just lost a wonderful employee who was also a National graduate and he was looking for another one. Lisa seems to have filled the bill! Lisa plans to return to National in the future to earn a paralegal degree which will be a great addition to the skills she has already and will serve her well as she further learns the title business.
