The campus was relocated to its new location in early April. The new campus, a modern 14,109 square foot facility, features 10 classrooms, a library, bookstore, office space, and a student lounge.
The Danville campus was started in November 1982 and has been proudly offering a career-oriented education to residents of the city and surrounding counties ever since. The campus offers career-oriented education and serves students from throughout Southside Virginia and neighboring communities in North Carolina. Its central location on Riverside Drive places it in the heart of Danville’s commercial district and offers an atmosphere conducive to academic success.

Honoring Who’s Who

On Friday, October 30th, the Danville Campus honored its recipients of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. A luncheon was held to honor the 30 nominees (some of which are pictured): Kimberly Poole, Ken Henry, Stanley Murphy, David Pelletier, Jeff Scearce, Richard Ennis, Deborah Spence, Warren Warner, Jeremy Dickerson, Patrick Robinson, Heather Linthicum, Craig Beatty, Karla Perez, Rachel Clifton, Sonya Holley, Gay Perry, Angelia Easley, Natasha Henderson, Qubillah Grimes, Lisa Feeney, Hannah Scarce, Brenda Hairston, Carla Coles, Stacy Scheier, Lisa Roberson, Angela Starling, Jennifer Barbour, Velma Keesee, LaKesha Schmidt, and Tammy Strader.
Nominated by their department heads, these students were acknowledged because of their cumulative grade point average as well as their in-class performance. During the luncheon, the department heads presented specific reasons why these students were nominated. Campus Director Mark Evans also spoke during the luncheon and explained that these 30 students were chosen out of 500 peers. Congratulations to the Who's Who nominees.
