In the heart of the Bluegrass region of central Kentucky, the Danville campus is in one of the fastest growing areas in the state, and was established in 1975. Seven classrooms including a computer lab, lounge, resource center and various offices are located in the spacious building situated in the historic residential district of Danville. Its programs attract students from a wide geographic area.

A New Path to the Future

“When I came to National they gave me one on one attention from the beginning and helped me decide the best educational path for my future,” said student Althea Lear (pictured). She is nearing the end her program and will soon graduate with a double major diploma in medical billing and coding and medical office specialist.
Althea is working as an extern for the Boyle County Health Department. She is also a working at the campus as a work-study student and she is a mentor and tutor to her fellow students. “I was working as a document processor before I decided to go back to school and further my education. I’ve learned that responsibility and patience are only a few of the things needed to become successful in your career.”
Althea is looking forward to graduation and furthering her education in the medical field. “I’ve had the best experience here at National; everyone makes me feel as if we are one big family.”
