Community Wide Job Fair

On Wednesday, March 18, the Charlottesville Campus participated in a 25th Annual Community Job Fair. Several hundred job seekers, many recently laid off, converged to get first-hand information about the job opportunities available with the more than 40 vendors that were present. Community Resource Coordinator Andrea D. Copeland and Paralegal student Rebeckah Armistead stayed busy talking to fair goers about the College’s programs to those desiring to learn new skills or enhance the skills they have. With support from Career Center Director Anne Brown, many National students attended the fair well-prepared with resumes in hand seeking to secure internships or find employment.
Rebeckah (right) is pictured talking to Wanda Harvey about National’s programs and how she’s “grown so much as a person thanks to the supportive faculty.”
