Supporting Project Discovery

On Friday, December 5, Community Resource Coordinator Andrea D. Copeland (pictured left, back row) from the Charlottesville Campus presented a $500 check from National College’s Community Relations fund to the MACAA Project Discovery High School program. The funds will be used to continue Project Discovery’s mission of guiding students through the college preparation process while emphasizing school success. More than 80 students from six different high schools participate in Project Discovery and many have gone on to become successful, first-generation college graduates.
Pictured accepting the check on behalf of Project Discovery High School are students from Monticello High School and Project Discovery Counselor Pamela Bland.
