Thank you Partners
On Tuesday, September 30th, the Charlottesville Campus hosted a Partners In Education luncheon. Representatives from local businesses, agencies, and the military were honored for offering their employees and clients tuition assistance to attend National College. National College students William DeVaughn Anderson (Supervisory Management Specialist program),and Will Gaither (Information Systems Engineering program) shared why they chose National College and how the support they receive is helping them achieve their educational goals.
Community Resource Coordinator Andrea D. Copeland organized the event. Along with Campus Director Kimberly Moore, Andrea presented each guest with a National College pen and pencil gift set. Special thanks to Albemarle County, AmeriGas, Charlottesville Department of Social Services, Crutchfield Corporation, Culpeper Career Resource Center, Department of Rehabilitative Services, FOCUS Teensight, Oz Industries, Piedmont Works, SNL Financial, US Army, Virginia Employment Commission and Weed & Seed Network for being a Partner In Education with National College.
Kimberly and Andrea are pictured presenting an appreciation plaque to Shanniki Green, student in the Business Administration-Accounting degree program. Shanniki accepted the plaque on behalf of Albemarle County.
