The hometown of Thomas Jefferson has been home to National College since 1979.  Located at the intersection of Highway 29 and Hydraulic Road, the campus is easily accessible from Route 250 and Interstate 64.

Relationship Building

The Charlottesville Campus recently hosted an agency breakfast attended by representatives from the area’s Workforce Center/Workforce Investment Agency Office and the Charlottesville Adult Learning Center and GED Program. Regional Director of Agency Development Toni Freeman  gave a presentation about National’s Workforce Development Grant - a grant that matches dollar for dollar the support provided to students from agencies and career and workforce centers. Following the breakfast and presentation, representatives were given a tour of the campus by the Director Kimberly Moore.  Those who attended were pleased to learn about what the College can offer the clients they work with and each expressed strengthening the working relationships between each of our organizations.

Directions to Charlottesville


Coming from Interstate 64, take the Route 29 bypass north and follow the exit ramp at the sign for Washington D.C.

You’re now on Emmet Street, and you’ll see our campus on the left in front of the Holiday Inn.

From the north, you’ll find us on Route 29, just past the Hydraulic Road intersection and just before the 29 bypass begins.

From downtown and the east, take 250 west, turn right on Hydraulic, then left at the second light onto Emmet.

From UVA, go north on Business 29, which is Emmet St. Parking is available in our parking lot or the south end of the Holiday Inn parking lot behind us.
