A Floating Toyland

On Saturday, December 6th, the cold temperatures and snow flurries helped to bring the Christmas spirit alive on State Street for the annual Bristol Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade. The Bristol Campus Student Activities Council (SAC) entered a float and won third place in the commercial division. This year’s float theme was Toyland.
Despite the early morning and frigid temperatures, many students, admissions, faculty, and staff came to walk in the parade and show school spirit. Financial Planning Representative and SAC sponsor Doris Smith would like to express her gratitude to all who participated to make the event a success. Students worked for several weeks to build the float and have everything ready on time.
