National College's location on Logan Street Hill proudly overlooks the heart of Bluefield, Virginia. Erected in 1922, the historic elementary school building became National's campus shortly after the college began serving the Bluefield/Princeton region in 1981. It has since been enlarged to provide a full complement of medical and computer labs along with additional classroom space.
In summer 2010, the Bluefield campus will relocate to a newly constructed campus in Princeton, WV. With its first campus in the Mountaineer State, National College will feature 18,000 square feet of space, encompassing numerous class rooms, a medical laboratory, and an information technology lab. A library, student lounge, and addition administrative space will also be provided.

Alumni Hall of Achievement

Candance Lawson, who graduated in 2004 from the medical billing and coding diploma program, was presented the Alumni Hall of Achievement Award during the Bluefield Campus's graduation ceremony on May 27th. Candance is currently a billing manager for Dr. Safi, a local endocrinologist. She said she uses the skills she obtained at National "every single day."
Candance is also a published author. Her book, Redeemed, a Christian romance novel, was published in January 2008 by Tate Publishing. Although she wrote the book before attending National, she says the positive atmosphere at the college gave her the confidence she needed to pursue her dream of seeing it in print. She also says she is thankful for the "amazing" instructors at the campus who pushed her to do her best: "[They] inspired me to keep learning. It was truly a wonderful time in my life and one I will always treasure." Candance is currently working on a sequel to Redeemed.
