Celebrating Black History
In celebration of Black History Month, the Student Activities Council (SAC) at the Bartlett Campus sponsored a field trip to the legendary Stax Museum that commemorates the famous Stax Records. Sixteen students along with Librarian Valerie Rushing toured the once music studio that launched the careers of Isaac Hayes and Otis Redding among many other soul artists. The exhibits included vintage videos, costumes, instruments and photographs. In addition to the trip, SAC also sponsored a Black History Month quiz contest. Congratulations to winners Danielle Lane, India McNary, and Jessica Robinson.
